The All Rounder
For his 70th birthday, Barry’s children decided to celebrate his extraordinary life. An All Australian Amateur footballer, state cricketer and accidental farmer Barry is a natural raconteur.
Mel’s Great Adventure
Bravely battling advanced cancer, Mel decided to document her story for the sake of her family and her young children. Mel graciously decided to share her film so others in her situation could see the positive power of telling their story.
“We were incredibly fortunate to find out about this amazing idea through the Founder, Stephen himself. We organised immediately for John, my father in law, to have his video done. He was apprehensive and didn’t want a fuss. Stephen was incredibly kind and supportive of John throughout the whole process which resulted in an incredible video about John’s life which we will cherish forever.
We were all astounded by the stories of his life and many tears and laughter have been shared when we share the video with others (he secretly loves watching it too!). Future generations, if they do not meet John, will always know what an incredible kind and amazing person he is and it is a wonderful story (told in his own words) to share at John’s milestones.
